Ah. Miami. Reblog if you know what we mean!

Marquis Residences’ annual Pet Party was a tail-wagging success on June 4, with more than 40 pets and their owners showing up for the fun.

Miami’s premier name in luxury condos held an equally luxurious party for their resident pooches, with prizes awarded, onsite pet adoptions, and fun activities for all.

Sponsored by K-9 Specialist, PetSmart and PuppyLand, the free event featured local groomers, dog walkers, pet photographers and veterinarians to answer owner’s questions.

Marquis Residences Pet Party Aspen
Aspen won the Best Dressed award for his feathery ensemble and rhinestone sunglasses.

2nd Annual Marquis Miami Pet Event Dolce
Dolce won the award for sexiest tail.

2nd Annual Marquis Miami Pet Event Dory
Dory won for Best Trick.

2nd Annual Marquis Miami Pet Event Tory
The luckiest winner of the day, however, was Tory, the one-year-old lab-mix who found an owner via PuppyLand’s onsite adoption booth. Congratulations to Tory and his new owner!

This year’s party for pets was a smashing success, and we can’t wait to see all the pooches that show up next year.

The Miami Herald Names RockResorts ‘Spa of the Week

To say that living at Marquis Residences has its perks is a pretty big understatement. Not only are you just steps from everything downtown Miami has to offer (just ask Drake or LeBron James), but you also have total access to one of the best spa resorts in all of Miami.

This week the Miami Herald is featuring RockResorts, the luxury spa at the five-star Tempo Miami luxury hotel, which occupies the first 14 floors of the Marquis Residences luxury condos.

The Herald gave RockResorts high praise in their review of the amenities that the spa offers. Below is an excerpt.

You know all those shiny, new buildings in downtown Miami? Well, they’re finally alive with cool restaurants and luxurious spas. Case in point: the RockResorts Spa at Tempo Miami inside the 67-story Marquis Residences.

Think modern and warm with pops of lime green. Swoon-worthy views of Biscayne Bay are an added bonus. The 8,000-square-foot RockResorts Spa features seven treatment rooms, including two over-the-top private spa suites for couples.

Book the Hands On Couples Massage package, where couples experience the relaxation of a full-body massage and also learn techniques from a professional therapist, practicing on their significant other ($160 for a 50-minute treatment and $200 for an 80-minute treatment).

If you’re already a resident of Marquis Residences, or are thinking about taking the next step into luxury and purchasing here, you can take full advantage of all these amenities through our à la carte partnership with Tempo Miami.

Want room service brought to your condo? No problem. Interested in housekeeping, security, valet, fitness center and concierge services? You can get them, too!

Marquis Residences Serves the Artistic Community With Sponsorship of Metamoto At The New World Center

Metamoto Performer overlooks downtown Miami from Marquis Residences

Miami’s Most Notable Downtown Full-Amenity Condominium & Luxury Hotel is at the Epicenter of Art, Culture and Entertainment

Miami, FL – Since opening 16 months ago, Marquis Residences, Miami’s majestic 67-story residential tower, has drawn inspiration and energy from its neighbors in the cultural community. It is only fitting that Marquis would want to give back to a community that has given much to so many others by sponsoring a group of visionary artists.

Marquis Residences recently hosted artists with the Metamoto Dance Forum at the New World Symphony throughout the duration of their visit.

Marquis Residences, located just steps from the preeminent Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts; Museum Park; Miami Art Museum; Gusman Center for Performing Arts; and American Airlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat is at the crossroads of culture in Miami. With this recent visit, Marquis became the cradle of culture as the Metamoto company resided in Tempo Miami, RockResorts’ boutique hotel occupying the first 14 floors of the tower.

“We are thrilled to lend a hand to the world-class artists who live and work in this vibrant community,” said Lori Ordover, managing member of The Ordover Group, a consultant to AFI USA, developer of the Marquis Residences. “In addition to being dedicated arts patrons, the Marquis Residences development team is proud that many acclaimed artists and athletes choose to call the Marquis Residences home.”

Wendy Marks Pine, of Cervera Real Estate and sales director at Marquis Residences, said the arts are integral to the culture and way of life in Downtown Miami. “Residents and visitors to the Marquis Residences are within minutes of some of the finest visual and performing arts venues anywhere in the world,” she said.

Metamoto – which fuses the words “meta” (beyond) and “con moto” (a tempo mark that indicates ‘with motion’) – is a first-of-its-kind musician-choreographer forum that pairs cutting-edge modern dance with experimental sounds and music. The performances featured the work of choreographers Letty Bassart and Yara Travieso, composers Daniel Bernard Roumain and Jerome Begin, and fellows of the New World Symphony.

“You have no idea what you have done for our team and company, and how your generous help has contributed immensely to the success of this performance . We could not have had better accommodations. On behalf of the whole creative team, I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your time and efforts to help us attain such superb accommodations for the week.”

- Yara Travieso, Metamoto choreographer

Designed by internationally renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica, the Marquis Residences is Biscayne Boulevard’s tallest residential tower, a magnificent glass structure that boasts two original works of art: Arquitectonica’s “Biscayne Beacon,” glowing at the top of the spire, and “Miami Rain,” by Tom Patti, situated at the North and West facades.

With 292 elegant residences comprised of single-level apartments, two-level townhomes and expansive suites, Marquis offers an exceptional lifestyle ideal for singles, families and couples. Individual units feature high-end appliances, top-quality finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors, state-of-the-art technology and sweeping views.

Marquis also offers top-tier luxury amenities. With the 70-room Tempo Miami hotel located on the first 14 floors of the building, Marquis residents have access to truly exceptional offerings, including an 8,000-square-foot signature spa and fitness center by RockResorts, open-air pool deck, concierge, security, valet, housekeeping and room service.

Residents can also enjoy the chic Amuse Restaurant & Lounge – serving organic, locally sourced, seasonal foods from acclaimed chef Emanuel Sarlenga.

In Friday’s NY Daily News, the publication named Marquis Residences “Best Place Of The Week” and outlined why Marquis is the place to be in downtown Miami.

Marquis Residences Model Residence

“This week’s Best Place takes us to the sunny shores of another bustling city: Miami.  Welcome to the Marquis residences at 1100 Biscayne Blvd. The building has 292 haute units (and is 60% sold since Jan. 2010), but it’s really the resort-style amenities that make this a true best place to live,” proclaims the article.

“First: There’s an 8,000-square-foot spa and fitness center with great views of Biscayne Bay and a open-air sky pool deck perched on the 14th floor. Thanks to luxury hotel Tempo Miami that occupies the first 14 floors of the 67-story tower, residents also get a slew of A-list services, including valet parking, housekeeping and even room service.

“While the building’s one bedroom apartments are sold out, larger options— like two, three and four bedrooms— start at $567,000. And by large, we mean square footage ranging from 1,500 to over 3,800 square feet.

“The kicker: Buyers don’t even have to lift a finger to decorate. Buyer can purchase a sleek furniture package from Tui Lifestyle that can be completely set up in three days.”
