Marquis Residences’ annual Pet Party was a tail-wagging success on June 4, with more than 40 pets and their owners showing up for the fun.

Miami’s premier name in luxury condos held an equally luxurious party for their resident pooches, with prizes awarded, onsite pet adoptions, and fun activities for all.

Sponsored by K-9 Specialist, PetSmart and PuppyLand, the free event featured local groomers, dog walkers, pet photographers and veterinarians to answer owner’s questions.

Aspen won the Best Dressed award for his feathery ensemble and rhinestone sunglasses.

Dolce won the award for sexiest tail.

Dory won for Best Trick.

The luckiest winner of the day, however, was Tory, the one-year-old lab-mix who found an owner via PuppyLand’s onsite adoption booth. Congratulations to Tory and his new owner!

This year’s party for pets was a smashing success, and we can’t wait to see all the pooches that show up next year.

As someone whose devoted his life to music and philanthropy it will be interesting to see how Julian Lennon has used his love of photography to capture the life he’s experienced. This very personal collections consists mostly of landscape work but he also takes us behind the music scenes and into the studio. He recently photographer U2 and brother Sean Lennon.

Adriana Rivera’s family figured Downtown Miami was the perfect spot them: a new condo overlooking the home of the Miami Heat.
Rivera’s husband, a big Heat fan, convinced his wife that a unit across from the world famous Three Kings was the way to go, and so they travelled all the way from Mexico to buy.

“The foot traffic in Marquis Residences where Adriana bought started to increase about 30 percent after the Heat announced it signed Lebron James,” said Real Estate expert Alicia Cervera. “Sales have now doubled with the season underway.”
